And The Milwaukee World Hound Dog Team

One uncommon advantage the Democrats face right now in the gubernatorial race: apparent unity. The party released a web ad today, Tuesday, November 17th, 2009, thanking Mayor Tom Barrett for his "commitment to Wisconsin families." The ad comes on the heels of State party Chair Mike Tate's issuance of a statement commending Barrett for entering the race to replace Governor Jim Doyle. The Dems, it is clear, are in a race to win the November, 2010 elections.

The Republican Party of Wisconsin, which faces a primary battle between Mark Neumann and Scott Walker for the state's top job, cannot devote its resources to a single candidate until after the September, 2010 primary, a point democrat Tate referred to in his statement when he said,
“Our Republican counterparts are divided, but right now Wisconsin Democrats are united and strong. We are more than confident that Wisconsin will have an exceptional Democratic candidate on the ballot who can lead our state into the future.”
The best the Republican party could do is issue a statement attacking the Democratic candidate, calling him "Tommy the Taxer."
In the statement, party chairman Reince Priebus said,

“Wisconsin deserves a governor who wants to lead this state back to prosperity and is willing to do what it takes to get us there.”
Unfortunately, Priebus is unable, at this time, to assign an identity to the governor his party says Wisconsin deserves. This muddles the party message, and makes it harder for the Republicans to find unity. Expect these bland pronouncements and ad hominem attacks on the opponent from the Republican party until September -- unless Neumann or Walker drop out of the race before then.

NEUMANN TO MEET WITH HIS "MILWAUKEE SUPPORTERS" TONIGHT

Why not join Mark Neumann this evening, Tuesday, November 17th, 2009, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Watt's Tea Room for a sip with his Milwaukee supporters? It appears Scott Walker has nothing planned this evening. Rep. Tom Nelson will be at Charro, 729 N. Milwaukee St., a favorite gathering spot of the Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee.

ACKER BACK IN JAIL

Here is a tanned Daniel Acker, back in jail for being extremely stupid while awaiting sentencing. Acker was in Florida with a 40 year old male pal according to Acker's mommy.
If any of you boys out there were traveling to Disney World with your mommy and daddy  last week and played with Mr. Acker there, please contact the Milwaukee County Sheriff, who took this picture of Mr. Acker yesterday, Monday, November 16th, 2009 in the county lockup.
Make especially sure to call the Sheriff if Mr. Acker showed you his 948.10(1) or if he tried to 948.07(1) you.

When I heard Acker didn't show up for court and was missing, I really thought he was going to do himself and society a favor and off himself.
