REGIONAL TRANSIT HERE -- FOR ADVERTISING

The Southeast Wisconsin Transit Systems have ganged up on their marketing budgets, and have hired a city of Milwaukee (barely) firm to promote the bus as "Your Other Set of Wheels."
Today, Thursday, April 2nd, 2009, a "Casting Call" was issued asking folks to apply to appear in an upcoming series of video commercials for transit services. The focus is on why you ride the bus, and how it saves you money. Applicants are asked to provide some personal information and a 50-300 word essay. The ads will be produced by Versant Solutions, Inc., a firm that has won awards for its work with the transit systems and the Marquette Interchange project.
Versant is located at 11414 W. Park Place, in an dreary, isolated business park devoid of interest, vitality or charm and only intermittently served by the occasional #23 bus. It makes the village of River Hills look like a transit hub by comparison.
Let's hope we don't have to actually go there to film the commercials!
