GARNISH? TRY RICE!
SELF-PROCLAIMED CHAMPION OF ETHICS AND FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY,

Suspended attorney and Milwaukee County Supervisor Joseph A. Rice, the selfless advocate for ethics in government and financial integrity throughout the economy seems to have a little problem paying his bills.
Court records on file in Milwaukee County show that Joseph A. Rice has an unpaid judgment from Telemark Interval Owners Association in the amount of $3,767.26.
Rice says the garnishment was entered in error by the court. [See statement below, Ed.]
This sum could be a good downpayment toward buying the place, offered for sale at $2 million:
Telemark Resort and Convention Center is the largest meeting and recreation destination in Northwestern Wisconsin. Located in Cable, Wisconsin just 3.5 hours from the Twin Cities, 5 hours to Green Bay and 7.5 hours to Chicago. 193 Lodge rooms, large indoor and outdoor pool areas, whirlpool and saunas, restaurant and bar and grill with 833 acres of land.
[Here is the website for Telemark Resort, and that for Rice as member of the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors.--Ed.]
The supervisor also is in the government affairs business, according to the Rice & Associates, LLC website.
HOUSE TAXES PAID
Fortunately, Rice and his wife Anne, who no longer works for the Milwaukee Athletic Club, are current on the taxes of their near-lakeside E. Circle Drive villa in the exclusive North Shore community of Whitefish Bay, where he served as a member of the Village Board for a number of years.
MESSAGE FROM SUPERVISOR RICE:
The matter you inquired about involved a dispute settled on terms that were very satisfactory to me. The garnishment was entered improperly and was promptly rescinded by the court following my attorney's intervention.
Joe Rice
P.S. Are you still officing at ZJS along with Gerard Randall?
