HOMELESS REPUBLICAN ELECTOR? ROSS USES P.O.BOX AS ADDRESS

The list of 2008 Wisconsin Republican Elector Nominees for Tuesday's presidential election includes businessman William Ross, who lists only Post Office Box 435 in Shawano, as his address to qualify him for the important role he might play in determining our new leader.
Funny, you'd think the Republicans would be aghast at the idea of allowing somebody to help choose a president without first at least providing a street address, like every other elector. However, the State of Wisconsin Government Accountability Board has not responded to three requests from Milwaukeeworld wondering why Mr. Ross, alone among electors of the Republican, Democratic, Libertarian and Green parties is exempt from telling us where he lives.
On the Democratic side, Polly Williams is listed as an elector, but we all know her real name is Annette. But at least she doesn't try to hide her real address by using a post office box.
The GAB should immediately demand that the Republican Party -- that champion of punctilious adherence to election laws -- submit an amended certificate that will give citizens an assurance that Mr. Ross indeed lives in the 8th Congressional District, as is required by law.
