A Chance for Gus Doyle to Make a Few Bucks?

Augustus “Gus” Doyle, 32, the son of Wisconsin Governor James Doyle, will lead the University of Wisconsin – Madison chapter of Students for Barack Obama when it kicks off its campaign tomorrow at Grainger Hall on the Madison campus.

Hopefully, this is a high-level, paid campaign job. GE Money Bank paid a $256 filing fee on July 13^th, 2007 to sue Doyle in Dane County Circuit Court for an outstanding credit card debt. We can imagine he owes more than the $256.

Gus has been working real estate in Madison for First Weber, where his biography tells us the he is "Governor Jim Doyle and First Lady Jessica Doyle's First Son." But even that is not enough to get people to buy houses nowadays, and money's tight.

Although he does not have much in common age-wise with college students, Gus’s indebtedness to a credit card company should create a bond with the young scholars.
