[Update: Saturday, February 16th, 2008--The Wall Street Journal has a front-page story on this subject today. --Ed.]

U. S. Attorney Steven M. Biskupic announced yesterday, May 21st, 2007 that he would dismiss the pending wire-fraud charges filed March 6th, 2007 in Case 07 CR 057 in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin against International Outsourcing Services, Inc. the Texas firm linked to the fraudulent redemption of hundreds of millions of dollars of manufacturers' coupons.
Shortly after the charges were filed, the firm changed its management, and promised to cooperate in further investigation. This was enough for Biskupic, who came to a seven-point agreement with the company.
Charges remain for 11 individuals indicted in connection with the case, including those who had been senior management, and presumably owners of the privately held corporation.
IOS operates worldwide in a number of fields, including outsourcing, its middle name.
