NO TRUST REMAINS FOR DOYLE

Americans don't always have trust in their politicians, but from the beginning of the Republic, our politicians have often had trusts.
Apparently James E. Doyle, Jr., the governor of Wisconsin is no longer to be "trusted" according to Wisconsin Circuit Court records.
That's because the James E. Doyle trust, established upon the death of the Governor's father, James E. Doyle, Sr., has been dissolved as of September 8th, 2006, when the governor and his sisters, Mary Doyle, Anne Doyle and Catherine "Catey" Doyle split the remaining assets of the estate share and share alike. The Doyle trust, according to the most recent Dane County court filing, in 2001, contained assets of $857,593. It apparently was established in 1987 and grew at a modest clip over the years. The first available accounting of the trust, in 1996, shows assets of $599,717. It doesn't appear as if the Doyle kids had to tap it much, since they all seem gainfully employed in one fashion or another.
